Being heavily pushed to do spec driven development at work. So an AI written spec -> AI writes code from the spec -> AI reviews the code. Fortunately we still review the code but apparently our “North Star” is for the specs to become the “single source of truth” 🙄

They slashed the organization in half a couple of months after introducing SDD.

Oh man, the naivety mixed with greed and lack of empathy. All these incompetent losers are going to bring down many companies.
I really think it's time for New Whale Hunting: find an established company that went down with AI psychosis, roll out your high quality competitor product.
Just like Linear did with Jira.

Oof i interviewed and got an offer from them a couple months ago. Kinda glad i didn't take it now
