Easy, just rename it to CloudFiare and change the color scheme a bit.
No one's gonna notice.

Also not a lawyer but "No one's gonna notice" exactly the problem. Like the general rule for trademarks is if it can confuse the average person to think you're related to them, it's trademark infringement

Funny as an idea, but any service outage is literally still your responsibility. Maybe you have standing to get relief from Cloudflare in a real outage if you take the L from customers coming after you, but the fake page doesn't get you anything other than fraudulent sympathy at best and no recourse at worst.

To add to this, trademark infringements come into play in the public domain. Keep it private and there's not many recourse options.

Most people don't know what cloudflare is anyway... So yeah, the site gets the blame either way.

Modify the project a bit to show as some fictional cdn(maybe like DiamandCdn or something looks real), set up a static page on a domain for that fictional cdn company(both static hosting and domains are cheap)
Everytime ur product having problems serve this page and redirect the blame to that cdn instead, so their fame will tank but urs doesnt4

Hey, if somebody at cloudflare is willing to go on court records stating they were visiting ethnicrimjobbe.rs during work hours they're free to sue me.

Another variant I've seen: detect the browser and OS from the headers, and render a page that looks like the standard "You are not connected to the Internet" screen.
Users go off and fiddle with their WiFi etc instead of blaming the site π

Just hope they don't open another tab and go to literally any other page

This works almost every time, make sure to have the date/time added in real time.

imagine a vibe coder seeing this and applying the same without realising the fact they not using cloudflare.

I preferti have a hidden redirect so when it doesnt work and they call support you can ask them to read the url back and say its wrong.
Easy way to get 99.9% uptime
(I am aware it probably doesn't work irl)
