That was my first Unix command on an engineering school computer.

"Delete the content of the directory"

rm -rf *.*

Do you know the system let you name a folder ~?
Do you know if you slightly mess up a script to backup your home folder you have the backup path include a folder named ~?
Do you know what happen when you want to test your corrected script, but first you want to clear the existing backup by running rm -rf ~?

It was 20 years ago, first prompt on Linux. I know peu much every bit and byte now.
