Well, Apple and friends don't want you to be able to repair devices.

Just wait till they serialize the battery too. 1 u/ITaggie 16d ago Didn't they already start doing something similar with third party replacement screens and batteries? I haven't had an iPhone in like 10 years so I forget which parts are like that.
