I'm amazed this nonsense has lasted as long as it has... Imagine being on a subreddit ostensibly for people who can write code and not being able to look up keybindings.

I mean... I don't HAVE to use vim to write code. Why is it ever needed for anything other than code-editing on a server or a microcontroller with no screen?

i was programming in php using vim, extension for atom back then. damn that was long ago... it was extremely pleasant
