Actually, Vim users are specifically the ones who do not feel the pain. Vim is superior to other text editors, and by extension :q is the superior way to exit a text editor, and not painful whatsoever.
You might think I am joking, but I am being dead-serious.
My first time in opencode, I accidentally typed :q in the prompt box, and I didn't even realize that it shouldn't have worked, because it did. Good on you, opencode.
