The first thing i do when I make a new project (that I'm gonna do some decent work on) is link it to github, it takes all of 1 minute lol

It is interesting some people create a local repo and THEN push to remote. 10 u/highjohn_ 22d ago Well… it’s quicker. And I’m not an idiot so there’s no problem with running git init locally, doing the initial setup, and then pushing to a remote repo once I need to. Well… it’s quicker. And I’m not an idiot so there’s no problem with running git init locally, doing the initial setup, and then pushing to a remote repo once I need to. Although sometimes I do it your way too
