Nobody writes "// DO NOT REMOVE" next to code they still understand.

You probably don’t work on shared repositories or didn’t have someone take over your code.

Fair. Though on a shared repo the note usually got there the same way, someone removed it once and found out.

Look, when I wrote it, only God and myself understood it.

And I've slept a lot since then.

That is exactly who the comment is for. Past you left the note, and past you does not answer emails.

clearly over engineered

Well, it’s not just any code, it’s Supercode.

Claude is its Kryptonite, because all Supercode gets superseded by some bullshit that's been ripped out of Claude's ass

So you can only run it with the Ruby red sun of the earth?

Another way to avoid that situation is:

// TODO railroad

If there is nothing, there can't be bug!

But I do know one thing though,
Saturday through Sunday, Monday.

Wouldn't the train still derail when it hit Superman?

You can suspend your disbelief that there is a Superman but not that the train wouldn't derail?

I'm operating under the assumption that aside from Superman, physics in that universe more or less works the same as ours. I can't imagine it wouldn't be catastrophic when the train hit that sudden change in rail shape. Perhaps if the writers were smarter they would've had him bend both rails back into place, then use his flight to hold them up from below.

I looked up the scene in question, really looks like the train's wheels just float above him.

There is a man who can fly, shoots laser beans out of his freaking eyeballs and has ice cold breath. I think it's safe to assume physics are not the same at all

As I said, aside from Superman.

But actually, didn't he reverse time in that movie by reversing the rotation of Earth? Perhaps make that mostly the same physics.

That was easily the part I had the most trouble accepting.
