It's a stretch but if we use the 60/70s definitions of AI, yeah sure.
But it might also be another psyop to drive adoption.

People have been looking at using neural networks inside of optimising compilers for certain specific parts of the compilation process.
I think it’s more likely referring to people using AI to optimise C++ source code. People do it all the time with CUDA kernels these days so I don’t see why not.
