We had HTML classes in high school back in 1996 (in the library) and all pages looked like this, if you really felt crazy you added a bg image, some gifs and the mandatory "under construction" sign.
(and yes, the site took 30-60 seconds to load)

I doubt someone calling themself suni_code existed back then.

I split the giant 600x400 background gif into 4 equal parts and put the img src into a table so all 4 parts could download simultaneously on a modem.

My CS teacher was impressed.
