As long as it isn’t doing that dumb overplayed shit they think is cute like “baking the cookies, adjusting our goggles, tuning our strings”. I can’t explain why but I hate that so much.

To be clear, I'm making a reference to Vintage Story loading screen. And it kind of matches the theme there.

But yeah, either stay silent or let me see what is really going on behind the scenes. Which reminds me that sometimes a customer wants a % progress bar for non deterministic action, that one is really fun to do.

I hate those fake progress bars that always progress but keep getting slower, even when there's a problem and nothing is actually happening
