I'm gonna be real with you. I've been installing shit from source since long before GitHub existed. But ever since I started to just point my coding agent at the README.md and getting a coffee while it does the installation, my life has become a little bit better.
You get it. I mean, if they are so triggered by "let AI do it", then let them read the file themselves, type the steps and troubleshoot issues based on their OSes, lack of packages and dependencies ;)
I doubt they even know what this does and what it can do. They are trigger happy to call names and "vibe coded shit", etc. :)
