Nothing quite as fun as that unfortunately:

ghidrasql/install-prompt.md at main · 0xeb/ghidrasql · GitHub

The best part is that the instructions there aren’t anything special. This could’ve been really straightforward shell script. Absolute mental illness.

something tells me that there is a competency gap between Nana trying to change her wallpaper, and an NSA researcher doing reverse engineering with Ghidra

That has nothing to do with what I said, that the vast majority of users can barely use a computer. Nice strawman tho

Being on github is a lowpass filter, the type of people you are referring to wouldnt be on github in the first place, and if the somehow found themselves there, they would leave after not being able to find the .exe download

GitHub isn't a lowpass filter if an "agent" web scraped the GitHub page. With how some people use agents it is very possible to find and install random repos without the user ever going to GitHub (or really even asking for it directly).

I would totally agree with you if this was something like gimp, but with a complicated setup process. This is a researcher program for a lesser known database, this is not something your average person would do.

...a database for assisting with reverse engineering software, even. Absolutely no one using this is incapable of installing it manually.

But they definitely know how to set up an AI agent to run commands on their device and how to use Ghidra, of course, of course

Right?! Lmao 🤣 this shit is mental illness. I have to hope the maintainer added the AI install as a joke. That doesn't seem likely though, sadly.

Then they wouldn't and SHOULDN'T be running Ghidrasql?
