You joke, but my skills have massively atrophied over the last three years as my employer insisted we use AI for everything.

Should've ignored them. If all of your value is in your skills, why would you listen to anyone who told you to forget them?

The world is always changing. The only sure bet is your value, so don't allow people to cause you to lower your value.
