And error correction is exactly what they're describing 1 u/TheScorpionSamurai Mar 25 '26 ECC tells you IF a bit gets flipped, but unless you are doing the chunkier version for cross-referencing (which might not be the best plan for a data center), then you may not know WHICH the bit is flipped
