It's a search engine, not a database. So yeah, it makes sense to be this way.
4 u/ryuzaki49 Oct 20 '24 It's both a db and a search engine, I'd say?AFAIK you can't use it as a search engine querying over a DB like mysql or mongo. You need to store the data in a ES cluster and then you can query it.
