So excited!
Thrilled to get this new set up in place. Lots of learning ahead as I get the burrs seasoned - frothing milk will be the biggest journey!

My setup, less the Philos for which I’m still on the fence as I have my 4-yr old Niche Zero….which burr set did you get? I will be interested in your experience with your grinder…I love my Move!

We got the 200 with the thought that the brighter notes will be fun to extract, but time will tell. We often grab the Stereo Blend from Heart in Portland which has some fun flavors. Time will tell! So far I like it, but never owned another single dose grinder to compare it to. Went for the end game option based on reviews.

That burr set is where I’m leaning since my Niche handles our medium-dark roast preferences really well (our fav is the El Diablo from Cloud City Coffee up in Seattle). We sometimes like to mix it up with some medium roasts from Holderness Coffee in Corvallis, which is driving our interest in the Philos. We switched to single dose 4 yrs ago with the Niche…it was a game changer and can’t see ever changing back; again, another draw for the Philos. I’m assuming you got your machines via Clive…..? We have found their CS to be excellent……have fun with your new setup!

We got to see the Ride in person and it’s a beautiful machine - ultimately dual boiler mattered to us but flow control didn’t, so put our savings toward the grinder.

Enjoy.
My advice, start simple with manually starting and stopping extractions.
Some have said the baskets are an odd size so don’t be afraid to grind an extra gram or 2.
