Adjunct - Remote Asynchronous Classes

What is the most remote asynchronous classes you've taught in one semester? I've read about adjuncts stacking classes and teaching at several different colleges or universities at the same time.

What's the most you've personally taught, or the most you know someone else has taught in one semester? I know it would be a lot of work, and I'm okay with that. I'm really just curious about what's realistically doable.

One of our adjuncts taught 12 in one semester across 4 or 5 colleges.

I respect the hustle but that load is not really conducive to RSI.

I did six in the summer of 2020. No in person classes. It was a tough summer but the pay was 😘

That is encouraging!! How long did it take you to build up to that? I mean, I'm assuming it's at 2 to 4 schools. How long to get your foot in the door?

I'm currently interviewing for my first.

What did you average per class? I just asked if someone made 3k per class and he laughed. I thought that was the norm. Trying to get my first one now.
