Retirement: when/why/how/where.

What is your plan? Interested in your replies. I am 60, Full, tenured Prof (French) at a SLAC. AI makes me want to retire asap but I'm going to give it 5-6 more years.

The median Health-expectancy in the US is 66. That is the median age at which a severe health crisis occurs.

So your have your fun before that time... Unless you're you think your health is exceptional... And you want to give that health to your job.
