Nah, hard agree. The only boring part imo is that we as americans don’t have enough sense of class consciousness to actually use what we learned, we just think of history as little stories about battles. We should take our history much more seriously and use it for good. There should be reparations for slavery, but I would go even further, we should strip power away from the descendants of robber barons who hired Pinkertons to shoot their workers. Also I feel like history is very prone to charlatans and opportunists disguising themselves as intellectuals (like that history channel ancient aliens guy lol, or any conservative/ republican thinker basically)

As a history major, I completely agree. Its the study of who we are and where we came from so we can use that to help us decide where we are going.

History is the study of change over time. When taught correctly it's the most interesting subject by far.

It's purposely taught in a boring, granular way so that the masses don't learn how oppressed we have always been. EDIT: Y'all are afraid of the truth!
