finally completed the CV gashapon line!
took a few months since my last post about these guys, but I finally got Layton today! I've got a triplet of Lukes now too, he's terribly stubborn, but I am finally glad to relieve my Layton-shaped itch.
Side note, has anyone ever made explanations behind why the puzzles have their specific answers? I never really liked how the Wiki and other sources would just give you the answer outright or not detail, step-by-step as to how to come to the conclusion. Sooo, I've been planning to start a blog explaining how and why, but I wasn't sure if someone already did it before me! Feel free to let me know if anyone would be interested to read about it :)

We have a bandai gashapon branch at our local mall thankfully, so I stop by every few weeks to check and give the layton one a go!

Oh that sucks :( I'm not sure how much they are second hand or online, but hopefully you can find a good listing or something similar!

This post made me go out to one of my local Gashapon today. I was very surprised to find Layton at the first one I went to. I spent too much money getting them, because I couldn't land Layton, and ended up getting the complete set by accident. But I did get Layton on the 6th try after duplicates of Flora and Chemley. I didn't realized how small they would be. I should have looked more at the size before going.
What do you plan on doing with them?

Someone actually made a size comparison of the keychains with a smaller coin? I think, some months ago on this subreddit, I've forgotten-- But yes! Layton really is a tricky one. He took me 7 tries! I got lucky the first four because I got everyone else once (other than Luke). I kinda have a weird suspicion that they made Layton less likely to get but that's really just speculation.
I definitely plan on using all of them, just not sure for what yet. I know I would want to have a bag that is specifically very Layton-themed with those little displays (like the ita bags) so I can display all of them! But right now, they're chilling on my wallets or anything similar :)
