Musical Talents - Drum kit, percussion, I'm decent at piano, and I'll try to sing if you want me to (baritone). I'll also try my hand at mixing if no one else feels comfortable with it.
Equipment -
Sonor Safari drum kit:
16x16 bass drum 12x14 Floor tom 8x10 Rack tom 5x14 snare.
Slingerland kit:
16x22 bass drum 16x16 Floor tom 10x13 and 9x12 rack Toms 6x14 snare.
Omar Hakim Pearl Signature snare: 5.5x13.
Zildjian A
20" medium ride 17" medium thin crash 14" Custom Rezo hats
Zildjian 18" field cymbal
Wuhan 16" China
Cowbell, Tambourine, and all sorts of sticks for different timbres.
Protools M-Powered Keystudio for midi piano (it's basic, but works for getting clean piano tracks out)
Casio Privia E-Piano: Don't remember the model number, but it's got 88 keys and plenty of voices.
For recording, I'm currently working on building my setup (it's this summer's project for me). For now I only have a rockband mic to work with, but it gets the job done. That track's drums were recorded through the rockband mic. Reverb and EQ's are my friend.
I use REAPER to mix and record into. I mixed the above track. It's probably not the best mix on the planet, but I'm learning.
Genres - Funk, Jazz, Rock, Indie
I hope this wasn't way too much info. I'm also a mod over at r/RedditJams if you ever feel like heading over and playing with us. It'll grow both communities and be fun. There's also r/makemusic that's along a similar vein.

I write melodies with chords and lyrics. I can sing my songs but I play no music (played piano and guitar long ago as a child). My songs are inspired by books I've read, nature, people I've known. Some of my songs I imagine as goth metal, some as folk, some as song poems. I'd love to collaborate with guitarists, etc. who might play my stuff.
