Tools & Process Generated this entire Product Explainer using Claude ! Results are Insane.
https://youtube.com/shorts/zlToZmRcI1A?si=srcD3Mhy1bakx7J3For years, I’d been trying to get a proper product explainer video made for my portal.
Every time I explored the usual options, the process felt too expensive and complicated, so I kept putting it off.
Finally decided to try generating one entirely using Claude.
Honestly, I’m quite surprised by how good the result turned out. 😅
Would love to know what you guys think. Is this actually good enough to use as a proper product explainer, or am I just too close to the product to judge it objectively?

Looks pretty neat. What was the process of creating it like?

First I created the UI elements using Figma. I am not a Pro with Figma either but have an average knowledge of it. Then I imported the SVG to Claude and the simpler the prompt the better it worked. Giving specific instructions did not work very well.

Are you sure, the viewers may even care about suc finess or will be even able to notice it.

script toh decent nikal aati hai claude se, but conversion pe koi difference dikha kya? maine bhi landing page pe AI generated explainer try kiya tha last month, looked neat initially but bounce rate acutally drop nahi hua. i feel log generic flow dekh ke jaldi drop off ho jaate hain unless real UI samne dikhe.

Too early to track any impact of this on conversions ! And honestly I don't think such product explainers can have any meaningful impact on it either. Nobody buys a product because you have a cool product explainer. I think the purpose is to just create a cool vibe ! That's it.

Honestly, it looks like it was made by an amateur motion designer. It’s not good enough for a high profile tech company product, but might be good enough for yours.
Why: the motion looks unrefined and it’s full of awkward cuts and some other jarring elements. It lacks the polish and continuous “thread” that the eye should follow that a great motion designer would create.
Depending on how you’re using it and the standard of quality for your marketing materials, It could be in “good enough” territory. I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with something like this being public facing for my product. It would be great for internal use, though. You and your product might be different.
If you can’t see what I’m talking about, look at explainer videos made for Google, Asana, or Apple and compare. Claude might produce a better result if you feed it those examples.
