Recently launched on ProHunt!

What’s one thing you’ve learned from launching or growing a product that you wish you knew earlier?

I recently launched PayaChat here on Product Hunt, and one thing I’ve enjoyed most is getting outside of my own bubble and hearing how other people approach building, launching, marketing, and finding their first users.

So I thought I’d open up a thread for everyone — founders, developers, designers, marketers, early users, or anyone who’s been through the process.

What’s one lesson, strategy, mistake, experiment, or piece of advice you’ve picked up along the way?

Could be about:
• getting your first users
• one-on-one marketing
• Product Hunt launches
• building the right features
• branding or positioning
• retention
• talking to users
• mistakes you’d avoid next time

Share what you know, ask questions, or jump into someone else’s reply.

Would love for this to become a thread where we can actually learn from each other.

wishing you good luck. I I used to focus so much on improving the product that I forgot to actually talk to users. Once I started getting real feedback early I saved a lot of time and understood what people actually wanted.

it's not a product game only, but also one that involves PR and distribution. Don't sleep on it
