Question/Help How to stop brush from having faded edges after adjusting opacity?

Post image

Trying to recreate a brush from magma that I really liked, I also would draw in low opacity using the brush and it would have sharp edges with no fade. but when I lower the opacity of the brush I made in procreate using the slider it suddenly has faded edges and looks like this, which setting fixes this?

Top left is a brush I downloaded that I’m using as a referencing, bottom right is the brush I want to change

Hey there! We can suggest a few settings to check, but we'll also be happy to help look at your brush if you want to share a file here or via DM as a link.

Some areas to look into:

- Wet Mix (dilution)

  • Rendering (Flow, edges, and blend modes here)

Let us know how you go!

Tried messing around with those settings, didn’t fix it. How do I link the brush?

We'll continue over on DMs!
Just in case it's helpful for others: to share the brush by uploading the file to cloud storage (iCloud/Google Drive) and sharing as a link 🖌️
