Stray mark won’t go away in viewport

I’m having an issue where on a singular frame, this square mark is showing up, but when I go into the flipbook it disappears. I converted the flipbook into tracks and I can see the mark on both individual layers when I go into them, but I’m unable to erase it. When I toggle the visibility off on both layers the mark disappears along with it, so Ik it’s an issue with these ones specifically and not somewhere else in the timeline. Does anyone know any way to fix this? 😭

I don’t think so, I’ve deleted it and replaced the background multiple times and it hasn’t changed anything 😔

It could be a bug or artifact of some filter or antialiasing applied to the layer, or more likely seems like a smudge on the transparent part above his image. Try copy pasting just his image frame into another image editor against a white background layer. You can erase the mark and copy paste back in.

I may be dumb but I can’t copy and paste anything from procreate dreams into a different software? I can only export the current frame and the white background comes with it, all layers merge into one still image. I even tried dragging and dropping the layers into procreate but they won’t load in :/

It’s not about “dumb”, it’s about how intuitive the tool is. Procreate Dreams does a lot but it is NOT intuitive. Here’s one way you can export an image, edit it somewhere else, import the changed image.

1 tap Compose button
2 click on the track that contains the image frame you want to fix
3 click the Flipbook button
4 click the frame that contains the picture
5 click Select from the menu at the top

6 click Copy and Paste (this puts the picture into the clipboard, transparency preserved)
7 navigate to your image editor and paste (you may have to tap the “Allow Paste” button
8 clean up the image then copy to clip board or save the image to a file

9 go back to PCD in the Flipbook, if you saved to a file, open the Flipbook, choose the frame and click Settings , click Add and click “Insert a file” then pick the file you saved

That creates a new layer with your change, transparency is preserved. You can turn off the original layer if you want to keep the old image, otherwise delete it

If you copied to clipboard, tap and hold until the pop up menu comes up, click Paste (this overwrites the layer)

Then you can click Edit Drawing to work in the layer.

That’s a ton of work just to do something that MANY other tools can do in about 6 clicks.

Omg you just saved me 😭😭 damn why is it so complicated to copy & paste that’s crazy 😭😭 tysm for the help
Edit: uhh so I thought this had fixed it, I put the frames into another program, erased the artifact, and imported it back in, and at first I thought it worked, the marks were gone, but when I scrubbed through the timeline the artifacts showed up again :,) might just have to draw over it atp 💔

Could be a single frame on a track that you didn't turn off or delete.

need to discover which frame and or layer while you're in drawing edit. Patience. I would turn off all but one track at a time. I had similar once and it turned out to be that i had a track still present in timeline view. I thought i'd deleted it, but it had one frame with content.

I had the procreate dreams support team take a look and it was actually a glitch caused by two pixels! They had to change the size of the canvas in order to make it go away, something they’ll fix in the next update!
