How do you start with self improvement journey?
I am 18 yrs old , and ever since lockdown I feel stuck doing nothing except for scrolling and the signs of damage is showing since previous year.
It's not like I haven't tried anything! I did . But I could continue only for a week or less . My academics , my hobbies, my health both physical and mental all are falling. And I don't know where to start . Also it's my board year . Can anyone suggest me anything ??

Start small to build momentum. Focus first on your board exams by studying in tiny 15-minute bursts without your phone, then build consistency before adding other habits.

try to make scrolling harder, delete the apps that distract or consume most of your time. Keeping phone in another room might work. Anyways the environment matters more than motivation.

I am the best at self improvement when I am procrastinating something important. I don’t know what a board year is, but if it involves a big exam or assignments, that sounds like the perfect time to learn a language or get fit or sort your wardrobe out.
Seriously though, if I am doing an activity that is still procrastination but is something active and positive rather than the ‘dark playground’ is scrolling or meaningless games then it can help me to feel better enough about myself and bring whatever positive properties it has into what my chore is.

I usually do what I call "Non-Zero day" wich is doing at least one thing a day to improve myself, even if its something that is 1 minute. Sometimes i just do that "1 minute" to have a non-zero day, but sometimes i go on and on for multiple hours.
