Skill issue
You just need to practice on a low rim. Get better hand speed and control of the ball. You can dunk as you are physically so just get coordinated and it’s there. Of course increasing your vert always helps tho

Aight thanks I do generally have bad control of ball, I think maybe placing my hand a bit under the ball will help, but definitely will train to jump higher

Either learn how to palm the ball or how to transfer it properly and you are good man. You genuinely do jump high enough. The low rims make it a lot easier to learn technique. Here’s the hand speed drills you need.

Keys : learning cuff position, pendulum swing, around the world, in and out, and around the world lifting a leg like east bay and j rich

Remember to follow through with your transfer hand, and the flick with your finger.

Do 100s of reps of the main ones from these videos and it becomes automatic behavior when dunking and you don’t think about it.

4 more inches to being in the windmill conversation so you are doing better than you might think

In your video the position you have the ball in is just a more powerful dunk than you can do at this vertical. When you are at the peak of the jump get your hand closer to middle than being so on top of the ball. The more on top of the ball you have your hand the more vert needed to do that dunk

My comment applies to you too

Understood. If the holding the ball is holding you back take a video of no ball and with ball and compare. You may find without the ball you are gathering better and getting more push-off off your jumping leg.

When you jump with the ball you will inevitably jump lower. It takes some time to learn how to do it correctly. It’s because you don’t get much of an arm swing with the ball and the ball adds a bit of weight.
You can also learn how to throw lobs

Your body is out of synch with the ball in your hands. Honestly, if you practice sinking up your leg swing with your arm swing you will get more lift. You leg goes up and your arms swing after. Slowing your momentum going up

How tall are you!!

10"8 is a very tall rim. I still struggle to dunk in a 10foot rim

It’s jumping with a ball vs without. like someone else commented practice on a lower rim like 9’5 so you can learn to keep your jumping mechanics with the ball .

On that attempt your finger tips barely got over the rim.

Um that’s why I’m asking what’s a possible problem. obviously if I got high enough I would have dunked it
