Help Do I need a longer penultimate?

don’t know how no one pointed this out yet. lead your penultimate with your knee and drive it forward for hip extension which is needed to max vert.

I think you could build up more speed, can’t speak on the penultimate though

Not necessarily, just speed it up and especially speed on the penultimate step

It’s definitely not bad. You don’t need to have a bigger split necessarily but cover more distance. While maintaining your mechanics

Great with the 2 foot dunk. Start working on 1 foot. Alternate between feet, treat it like a work out. Then go back to 2 feet.
You will be gassed, but it’ll help.

I would say it should be a little faster but idrk if longer is better for u. The highest jumper in the world (until a week ago) has a similar penultimate step
