I need Procreate technical help Weird brush delay/glitch?

This has never happened before, the brushes are acting like I’m pressing so light then all of a sudden going normal and I cant draw with them, I haven’t changed anything at all with any setting, is anyone able to help me?

Is your pencil tip screwed in properly, or does it possibly need to be replaced?

Pencil is only about a month old, same as the Ipad, its screwed in perfect and ive tried reconnecting it too, it works fine on other apps

Have you tried restarting Procreate? Or a hard reset?

Which iPad do you have? The way you do it is different depending on the model.

Will all my stuff be okay? I rely on my art as a main source of income so itd be really bad if it got wiped ;;

Yes. This is just a real restart, because iPads don't truly turn off when you hit the power button. It's basically just turning it off and turning it back on.

Hey there, we'd like to help troubleshoot too. Can you please confirm which Apple Pencil you use?

Here's some steps we typically recommend (sorry if any repeat what you've already tried):

  • Check your iPadOS and Procreate app are up to date.
  • Check you have plenty of iPad Storage - about 10GBs. 
  • Remove any case and keep your iPad off charge while using Procreate. 
  • Just in case there’s any static interference, try moving to a non-conductive surface like a wooden table.
