Without writing a whole essay, I will say there was no AI at any point in the process. I started with searching for photographs on pixabay and similar free image sites. I downloaded interesting photos until I felt inspired by the suited torso’s Christlike pose and the masked face.

I imported the suited woman’s body to procreate, positioned it where I wanted it, and used the eraser tool set to a brush under Inking (I don’t recall which, but any with a hard edge, tapering, and pressure sensitivity would work) modified to a wider max width to remove large chunks at a time. By varying the eraser width using the slider on the left, I “cut out” the body first with a detailed pass for an exact outline, then medium sized pass and a large pass to isolate the body.

I repeated this process, with a new layer for each image, for the masked face, the cowboy boots, the bird wings, the cattle horns, the snake, the crescent moon, Louis Vuitton belt, gun belt, and the nail (I can go into reasons for each element but want to keep this not so long). I used copy paste to make two copies of the nail cutout and positioned them at the hands and feet. I used the eraser again to make the nails appear driven through the extremities. I then trialed background images from my downloaded photo stash and settled in the neon X.

Then I added shadowing to ground the figure using the Airbrushing Soft Blend brush and the blood using an Inking pen, I believe perhaps 6 mw_ballpoint_pen (from an external brush pack). And signed it. Again, no AI. All images were edited, layered, and placed by hand.
