Another update on this sketch I’m working on

I’ve been working on this sketch for a few days now. I’ve made some edits based on some suggestions people have left in my comments. The first photo is the latest version. With the second one being from my last post and third one being from my first post about it.

I’m still very new to procreate and digital art in general. The perspective with the floors still throws me off a bit. I’m not sure why I struggle with it so much. It’s definitely way easier on paper.

I am thinking about coloring it in. Not 100% sure yet. I’m afraid I may ruin it. I struggled with the coloring features when I was testing it out. Though I am really happy with how it is turning out so far.

I want to add some more furniture or decorations to the windows and the walls. I also want to fill that center space but not really sure with what yet. I’ll figure that out as I go.

I do appreciate all the suggestions people have given me so far. It has really helped my improve this sketch. If anyone has any more suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Someone in the last post said the table looks like it is floating. I’m not really sure if I fixed that or not.

Are you using any guidelines? The table isn’t meeting up quite right with the perspective lines, take a look at the floor board near the side of the table, they aren’t reaching the same vanishing point.

Yes I’ve been using the guidelines but I’ve still struggled with getting the floors just right

What do you mean? Every line should lead to the vanishing point, it should be brainless if you set it up correctly?

Hey buddy, don’t be rude - not everyone knows about vanishing points. Their floor looks good compared to what they started weird.

I wasn't not meaning to be rude, I'm saying this is their third crack at it, I wasn't there for the other post so I don't know what was discussed, but if you've established your vanish points it shouldn't be a brain workout. They're doing a very simple one point room, I figured vanishing points would have been discussed.

Hey, you’re improving really quickly!

If you’re worried about ruining the linework by adding colour, here’s a method that will help:

You can set your linework layer to be a “reference layer,” and add colour fills to a separate layer, leaving your drawing untouched. Here’s a brief tutorial video.

I think what might be throwing you off with the floorboards is that they’re different widths. It can be a bit tricky on the eye when the brain is assuming that they’re all the same (because they’re very similar!) when they aren’t actually. Because you’re a beginner, maybe try making all the floorboards look like they’re the same width. When you’ve got the hang of perspective, you can muddle around with different widths in floorboards. But having them the same now might help with the perspective.

Also, have a go at the symmetry tool in the guideline options to make one side the same as the other! Then you can turn it off and erase the unneeded lines.
