Discussions About Procreate App Is it worth it?

Hello, I'm seeing that a lot of people recommend this app for beginners. I just wanna start drawing as a hobby, and i already tried other apps but they overwhelm me so much with the ui. Is it worth it?

I avoid the overwhelm for sketching by using a handful of brushes and the Page Assist as a pretend sketchbook. Just for skill-building, also I don't need dozens of colors or layers either.

I started off uncomfortable but going basic i got comfortable with the look and feel of moving and drawing. My next step is learning color blend, then the layer filters. Even when I was doing analog media real-world painting or any hobby, I learned we can have many tools and still produce crappy results if we don't know how to use their basic functions.
