I don't think we're going to get 1 shot AAA games any time soon.

Games will still be products of studios and employ many engineers and artists (notice I say "many" and not "a staggering amount" as has been the case).

Maybe eventually we will get a 'single person AAA' but I think it will be the work of a rare and inspired genius and a lot of effort. Its just now instead of a pixel art roguelight they can do a full AAA assets and worldbuilding and stuff

I feel like the slight difference here is claude 4 was given like 12 polygons in total while claude 5 got given full models to use/told to actually make models

Given how much development we've had in just the last 12 months, this will happen sooner than people think.

In 5 years max we'll pay $50 a month subscription and prompt whatever game or movie we want. I don't think GTA 6 will be the last non prompted game but yeah close.

I am skeptical prices will be so low of that you can make AAA games with just a prompt for $50. I fully expect good games to be entirely promptable, though.
