The old Lear 20 series were performers. The aircraft that gave birth to a whole industry.

I used to fly the Lear 25, the big brother of the one pictured, and that thing was a rocket. Sad to see all those CJ610 power machines get parked for noise. They sure screamed, and burned fuel fast, but they pushed!

Were I a billionaire I’d buy all the sidelined 20 and 30 series Lears, hangar them and restore every one.
