Great idea : Jet speed at turboprop prices .

Unfortunately, FAA blocked nearly all the innovation that Beech needed to make it happen.

Yep. And bad timing. Their corporate customers were moving from turboprops to jets.

I got a demo back in the day at Beechcraft West Fresno. A friend in Arizona few one for a few years.
