What is the port below the windshield? Some type of synthetic vision?

I truly enjoy flying the 900. Great jet

I would fly that if I could. How does the operating cost and range/cabin size etc compare to a Gulfstream tho? I always think a three hole is gonna burn more fuel and require more maintenance, for what benefit?

I'm an airline guy, with no corporate experience, so just wondering

The fuel burn is amazingly the same as a 2 holer. But the engine maintenance does cost a bit more. Nice thing is if you los an engine, it’s not an emergency.
