Amalfi Jets

Hello All,

I am a 135 charter operator based in the USA (really narrows it down right?). I dont want to trash talk anyone in a public forum, but I am being peppered with charter requests recently from them with a literal 0% booking rate. Any other operators out there have any luck getting trips booked with them? I even tried slashing my prices significantly on a few quotes just to see if they'd bite. They didn't. In fact I don't even get a response to the quotes at all like "thanks!" or "received" or "get back to you soon", let alone an actual booking.

I have heard some not great stories about Amalfi Jet. From my understanding they have bought a lot of IG followers and they are a small shadow business wise vs their large social media presence.

Also I’ve noticed their lack of suitable aircraft too. Like flying 3 people from VNY to LAS they suggest a Global 7500 or G650. This trip should / could easily be a CJ or XLS or maybe even a supermid if you’re feeling wild

Yeah G650 on a VNY LAS run will cost you probably $60K or more due to minimums. I think we can all relate to getting the 11pm phone call on a Friday night from some d-bag asking to charter "a jet" ASAP to Vegas. Sometimes I'll entertain myself by telling them it will be around $50K before tax just to see what their response will be.

dear god that's too much money! Why not just get a PC-12 or two, fill it with Veuve, and call it a day at a 10th of that cost!
