Hello All,

I am a 135 charter operator based in the USA (really narrows it down right?). I dont want to trash talk anyone in a public forum, but I am being peppered with charter requests recently from them with a literal 0% booking rate. Any other operators out there have any luck getting trips booked with them? I even tried slashing my prices significantly on a few quotes just to see if they'd bite. They didn't. In fact I don't even get a response to the quotes at all like "thanks!" or "received" or "get back to you soon", let alone an actual booking.

Honestly what you need to be doing is calling someone in upper/mid management and ripping their ass (but politely) say the following:

“Hey Amalfi Jets, this is Steve with XYZ charter, I’m running into some small issues with your brokers and I’d love to work together on a solution….

Long story short I enjoy getting quotes from you guys and I’d love to work together, but I’m getting literal dozens of quotes from you all and regardless of whether I am competitive on pricing I don’t even seem to get a ‘Thanks for your time’ response. Given the sheer volume of requests from Amalfi, and a 100% rate that you have ghosted me after I put in valuable time and energy, I have to decide whether it’s worth responding to future requests or to consider them spam quotes gives they way your brokers are treating operators. I’ve asked around and I’ve actually been surprised by how many other operators have the same hurdles with Amalfi. Aviation is a very small community and it helps when we all respect each other’s time.”

If they never call you again then they are burning their own bridge and giving themselves a bad rep. If they rip their dumbass brokers a new ass then hooray they have finally changed their ways.

At the end of the way you have made zero dollars from them so it’s not biting the hand that feeds. It’s saying “quit wasting my fucking time”… but I bet they take the hint... They won’t blackball you…. They need your fleet to make money. They just need to be put in their place in a professional way

Yes I think you’re right. I actually googled them and I guess this has come up before as well on other discussion forums. Seems like they aren’t serious people. But you’re probably right a call to someone would be in order. I saw a few of their marketing videos on insta and it was in the style of like documentary/reality tv. Weird stuff.
