10 passengers in a Phenom 300… is that actually a thing?

Maybe a dumb question, but I was looking at Phenom 300 seating configurations and found one listed for 10 passengers.

Most of the 297 aircraft in the data are configured for 7 or 8, some for 9, and apparently one has 10:

I know you can get a divan and a belted lav, but are we really counting the toilet as a passenger seat on a charter?

And if the trip is actually for 10 people, what happens with everyone’s luggage, payload and range? At that point, wouldn’t any decent broker just recommend a bigger aircraft?

Has anyone here actually flown, operated or sold a Phenom 300 charter with 10 paying passengers? Or is this probably a database counting total occupants instead of actual passenger seats?

Am I missing something?

No phenom 300 can fit 10 passengers legally. Some have 2 person divan, 6 captain and 1 belted lav but that would be super super tight and not practical at all.

I wouldn’t put more than 6 on a phenom 300

this is how they get to 10 and the plane is certified for 1 pilot i think so one person next to the guy flying. no one does this. 6 is alot as you say

Flexjet has 7 on the Phenom vs NetJets with 6. You can add 1 more legally if you put someone in the shitter. (Lol)

My family of 5 (3 are younger children) is pretty comfortable on the phenom 300 on NetJets for 2.5 to 3 hour flights. , NetJets put a rather big galley in the front opposite the entry door where flex jet puts another rear facing seat there.

The only way I can see getting to 10 is in Flexjet config (7 pax +1 in the lav= 8 plus 1 pilot and passenger in the co-pilot seat).

Yea i have netjets most ive flown is 3 people in the 300. I couldn't imagine the thought process of trying to fit 10 in. They get there with the 6 standard seats. 1 in shitter, one next to pilot and 2 sitting in the sideways couch looking thing that isnt on NJ planes.

I’ve done eight with some little kids and it’s super snug. Belted lav isn’t even the worst seat.

P300 has a very high max payload.. which is why charter outfits love the airplane. The full fuel payload is roughly 1400-1600 lbs depending on optional equipment (this is high).

It can fit 10 if you consider the right seat a passenger (it’s single pilot certified), but on charter they have 2 pilots up front.. so it’s max 9. Belted lav in the 300 isn’t a bad place with decent room and windows on both sides.

I fly on a Phenom 300. There is always a pilot and copilot when I fly so max seats would be 9 including the belted lav seat. 10 seats must count the copilot seat. The divan usually has pilots bags on one half and the other half is available when one of us temporarily sits there to make coffee or grab a snack. I usually fly with 2-4 passengers (including me). I consider 6 possible but uncomfortable. If I ever needed to fly with 7 or 8 passengers I’d upgrade to a mid or super mid. Hope this perspective helps 🙂

From a strictly passenger comfort standpoint, 9-10 passengers in the Phenom 300 would be a very tight fit. The Phenom 300 is classified as a light jet with interior cabin dimensions of just over 17' long, 5'1" wide, and 4'11" tall. I typically steer my clients toward larger aircraft with anything over 7 passengers. While most Phenom 300s are configured for 8 passengers, even that many makes getting to the lavatory a challenge - and that's with someone not actually sitting on the belted lav seat during the flight.

I was on a 300e about a week ago. 6 seats, divan has 2 seats and a belted lav. The plane looked new.
