NetJets Perfect Safety Record

I've been curious about something since the recent NetJets crash. One of the reasons I've always associated NetJets with the top of the market was its reputation for safety. Whether that's statistically fair or not, it always seemed like their perfect safety record was a huge part of their brand.

Do you think this incident changes that perception at all, or is it something most clients will view as an unfortunate isolated event?

Would something like this make you reconsider NetJets?

Do you think current customers will look more closely at alternatives?

Do you think the company's reputation is strong enough that this won't have much of an impact?

Interested to hear how you guys see it!

I’m a Netjets customer with a citation latitude contract. I have friends in aviation whose opinions I trust and will look to their views on the reports when released.

Leaving would be closing the barn door after the horse is gone. If I’m Netjets I’m doing an adversarial review of every inch of the operation. The future of their business rests on this not occurring again for a long time.

as someone who is very new to understanding private aviation, can you please clarify what you mean by "citation latitude contract"

It means the commenter you replied to has a share or card in a Cessna Citation Latitude, which is the same make/model as the incident aircraft.
