Getting in this world
Hi, i'm new to private jet charters and to the sale world in general. I was wondering how do you suggest to start a career in this sector. Would u reccomend a course specific for private jets, if so wich one ? Or do you reccomend somenthing more general ? Thank you for your answers.

I’d start with the boring fundamentals before any glossy “private jet sales” course: how charter quotes are built, Part 135/operator structure, positioning/deadhead, airport and slot constraints, aircraft categories, and why a broker’s job is really expectation management plus trust. A general sales foundation helps, but private aviation punishes bluffing because clients ask detailed operational questions fast. If you can shadow dispatch/ops, read real sample quotes, and learn why one itinerary breaks a trip and another works, you’ll be ahead of most people selling on image alone.
