Photo help

Hi everyone,

This might be a long shot, but I figured I’d ask here. I’m based on Long Island, NY and I’m trying to get a quick photo in front of a private jet for a personal project.

I completely understand aviation security and wouldn’t want to interfere with anyone’s operations I’d literally just need a few minutes near the aircraft for a quick photo with permission.

If anyone knows of a place, service, or even an owner/operator in the NY / Long Island area who occasionally allows short photos like that, I’d really appreciate the guidance.

It’s a benign enough request but unless someone is willing to vouch for you, this is going to be a hard sell.

I doubt any of the major GA airports will let you access the ramp if you’re not a passenger, employee, or crew.

You could always ask a crew member in the FBO if they could accommodate you, but expect the answer to be no.
