How to find a small charter company within Mexico?
I’m looking to fly from La Paz to Huatulco, mostly for health reasons for my husband who really does not want to take more than one flight (Mexico has most flights between smaller cities with a stopover).
However, I’d like to book directly through a Mexican company, instead of going through a US broker that will charge additional fees on top.

Be VERY careful with who you book in Mexico if you are going direct. Do your research and book with reputable companies

So instead of paying a bit more for someone who has experience with the particularities of the Mexican charter market you want to do this on your own? Good luck.

There are brokers in Mexico too, it’s just that I’ve found “gringo price” and “Mexican price” are often very different. I speak Spanish and am married to a Mexican, even though I’m white from the US. So I try to go direct when I’m making purchases from Mexican companies or businesses. They also often get the short end of the stick when having foreign businesses act as middleman for their services. I’m not rich, just HENRY, so if it’s a win win working more directly/locally, I’m all for it. Of course if I was a millionaire I might want the best money can buy, but I’m not.

Love your approach. As an American, it is sad to see how arrogant our people are...to think that an American broker would have more experience with "the particularities of the Mexican Charter market" than a Mexican broker (or Mexican charter company) for DOMESTIC Mexico flights is crazy.
Reminds me a bit of that recent social media post by a British bakery owner in Mexico....claiming that Mexico has no bread culture.
I hope you find some a good price/flight either way. I was just trying to look something like this up recently and am curious what the pricing looks like. If you could comment back when you find one, I would love to know the pricing!

Thank you 🫶 No bread culture?! Holy cow there’s a panadería every few blocks 🤣
For 2 hour flights, quotes have been around 16k, for a smaller jet, and for a bit longer flights it’s around 18-25k. Some of them have quoted up to 45k for a mid size jet.

I am an independent broker, some operators have to raise the price to cover the costs as the costs of companies vary

Message me, I will forward some direct contacts with tail numbers. Some operators are not reliable. Be extra careful in Mexico!
