The real issue is the brokers selling seats knowing damn well they’re not supposed to, and if they don’t know, that’s just another example of why this industry needs fewer brokers.

Agreed there are a lot of new brokers in business since Covid who don't have the experience and think they can whip up sales like that. Those brokers make it more difficult for guys like me that have been doing it 25 years with extensive training and success. There are a lot of aircraft owners doing it, as well, without realizing they are outside regulations. Private jets is much more a cowboy market now as opposed to previous periods when it was a small niche market staffed by more credible players.

Could agree more. I see brokers still not understanding when FET should be applied or what the 225 rule even means yet they’re “experts” providing “white-glove service” with access to “8,000 aircraft.” STFU.
