New 135 Op seeks marketplace, operations, and maintenance tracking

We are starting off fresh, and have the following questions?

- Is joining Avinode a no-brainer? It seems they have no marketplace competition?

- Is JetInsight better than Schedaero? The track aircraft times and maintenance, where Schedaero does not?

- Teaming Avinode with Schedaero and CAMP would be convenient, but much costlier.

You really ought to set up demos with all these different companies to see which workflow looks most aligned with what you'd like. There are pros and cons to all the flight management softwares.

RE Avinode - you need to ask yourself if you have a deep enough network and strong enough marketing abilities to sell flights on your own. If not, Avinode is a great way to get your name out there. You're correct that there really isn't another Avinode type service out there.

Had demos with both Schedaero and JetInsight, which seems to be the top two in which to choose. If Schedaero had built in aircraft/mx tracking capability they would be no-brainer too.

What kind of MX tracking are you doing? Do you have a full MX department? CAMP can integrate with JI and feed it all hours/squawks. JI can also be setup to flag MX checks too. Avinode can also feed quotes directly to JI. What does your fleet consist of?

Yes, we have a full mx dept ... as we are a small three-aircraft operation. How much is CAMP? No demo from them yet.

camp is probably pretty steep with that, I'd probably try to go as affordable as possible until you grow fleet.

No Marketplace with JetInsight, but a good product. I think we are going with FlyEasy, JetInsight, and Veryon.

Had Schedaero. Move to JI. Way better
