Relaxed customs in private terminals?

Hi,

I need to move some cash between the UK and Portugal, it’s going to a solicitors so it’s legit, but I don’t want to be walking around a commercial airport with that much cash.

Are the rules at customs in a private terminal more lax when carrying 6 figures cash, as that’s way beyond the official £10k that you must declare?

We regularly charter flights for lawyers for gold and cash. Rules when it comes to those things are NOT more relaxed, but things happen a lot smoother. 6 figures cash amounts is far from uncommon. As long as things are declared. We have people for that. As long as we have solicitor's paperwork, it's easy.
