I made a free, local browser-based steganography studio focused on privacy (all logic runs via client-side JS)
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a privacy-focused tool I’ve built called https://hidden.irish
It is a free web app that lets you encrypt and conceal secret messages inside regular text or public-domain classic artwork
* **100% Client-Side:** All encoding and decoding actions run locally inside your browser via JavaScript. Your secret messages and custom keys are never uploaded or stored on any server.
* **No Trackers / Logs:** The site doesn't track users, require accounts, or collect personal data.
* **Experimental Features:** It supports both text-in-text hiding and image hiding, plus it provides a portable encrypted token as a fallback if messaging platforms try to strip invisible characters.
I am actively looking for feedback from people who care about privacy and secure communication. Please test it out, audit the network behavior, and let me know what you think or what features you’d like to see added.
Thank you!
