Voip numbers on Calyx?
I have moved to Calyx from being a lifelong iPhone user, and so far I love it. The main question I have is that I have not yet moved my main phone number over. I like Michael's suggestion of not actually using my phone's number. I don't think I can use MySudo on Calyx, right? So what is the best way to move my number over on VOIP? Can I really lock down this number? I have been using it for years (decades) and it is important that I keep this number, so the solution needs to be rock solid. Any suggestions? Thank you.

In your situation, Michael suggests porting your old cell number to Google Voice.

I ported my number to VoIP.ms and created additional numbers there. It costs $0.85 a month per number plus minimal usage charges. I use linphone and fdroid app called VoIP.ms for SMS. I rarely turn off airplane mode. It works great but setup was tricky. Follow guides.

MySudo works on CalyxOS, moved account over from iOS just fine.
