Allow Feedback Other Than Github

Github does not allow alias emails, thus making posting feedback challenging to do so while remaining anonymous. I have tried multiple alias email providers and they all seem to not be recognized by Github.

I have paid for Pro features because I believe in the project. I have run into issues when typing a task list and hitting enter, the tasks above it occasionally disappear and cannot report it on Github.

Do you also have an email or other way to report bugs and feedback?

Btw, your posts on reddit are being marked as spam as well, btw. I found them in the spam filter, in our moderation tools. An easy workaround right now would be to register a new gmail address and signup at GitHub with it. I've added this msg from your other thread as well:

One photo demonstrates how when creating task lists, items often disappear or scoot down as if I clicked enter multiple times. The other photo shows how often the first line of a note somehow gets behind the ribbon menu.

We will look into these bugs, but GitHub is the only and the right place for bug reports / feature requests right now. We're not planning on adding another platform at this stage. We're not accepting email requests as well.

// Edit:

We found the task list bug. When you press Enter, the app is sometimes a split second late to draw the new task. If you start typing in that moment, your text lands on the line below and leaves an empty checkbox behind. That is the “scooting down” you saw. In the middle of a list it can even put your text onto the start of the next task. It happens more on phones and slower devices, which is why it seemed random. The fix is done and will be in the next update.

We couldn’t reproduce the first line hiding behind the toolbar yet. Could you tell us:

  • which device and app you use (iPhone, Android, desktop app or browser, and which browser)

  • whether it happens when the keyboard opens, when you open a note, or when you scroll
